Few law firms are founded on friendships and fewer sustain a solid forty-year relationship. It was for this reason, and the fact that RPNA is celebrating its 20th anniversary, that San Fernando Valley Business Journal decided to profile Roxborough and Pomerance in its October 31 issue.
After recounting stories of friendship during their college days, Roxborough and Pomerance talk about their first major case against a large workers’ compensation insurance carrier, winning a $20 million verdict against State Compensation Insurance Fund, and other landmark verdicts over the years where the firm was often characterized as the ‘David’ to the [insurance] industry’s ‘Goliath.’
The article continues with the firm’s history, addition of partners Gary Nye and Michael Adreani, and current cases being tried. Roxborough and Pomerance later describe RPNA’s passion, commitment towards client cases, and how the foundation of their friendship frames a positive culture for all RPNA associates.
