Drew Pomerance has been named Class Actions Lawyer of the Year by Finance Monthly, a multi-platform publication that provides finance news and analysis to a global readership of C-suite executives, company directors, investors and entrepreneurs.
The Annual Finance Monthly Law Awards recognize best–in-class law firms and legal professionals worldwide who have consistently excelled in all aspects of their work and set new standards of client service.
After extensive sector / peer-to-peer nominations and research, Mr. Pomerance was selected for his accomplishments in the area of class actions. A special awards edition of Finance Monthly featured Mr. Pomerance, highlighting a precedent-setting Supreme Court decision he argued and won, which resulted in a $110 million settlement for a class of 15,000 security guards and is now regarded as one of the largest wage and hour class action cases in California history.
