A Message from Justin Erbacci
May 18, 2023, I was extremely honored and humbled to receive the Community Builder Award from the Airport Marina Counseling Service during their Spring Into Well Being Gala. I was so thankful to all those who attended this event to help support this great organization, including BOAC Vice President Val Velasco, Commissioner Nicholas Roxborough, Councilmember Traci Park and LAWA leadership and staff. I especially was happy that some of the LAWA team could be present to share in this recognition of LAWA’s efforts to be a better neighbor and a responsible community member. As I said in my remarks, to win an award for being a community builder is truly humbling and important. And it is such an honor to receive the award from Airport Marina Counseling Services as they are such a great contributor to and important member of the LAX community. The work that AMCS does to provide counseling services to those in need is truly meaningful and valuable – and especially relevant in these challenging times.
