We want to share the exciting news that Mi Kim, an extraordinarily talented trial, appellate and policy making lawyer, has joined Roxborough, Pomerance, Nye & Adreani, LLP.
In 2003, Mi started off working for two very large national law firms in Miami, Florida, representing Fortune 500 companies in litigation and trial practice areas. She moved to California in 2005, and worked as a criminal defense lawyer with one of the top white collar criminal defense firms in the country specializing in some of the most complex areas of law, including Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (“RICO”) and money laundering. Her trials included one of the longest federal jury trials in California on charges of tax evasion, bankruptcy fraud, and related money laundering.
Thereafter, Mi continued her work in litigation, trial and appellate practices with the California Department of Industrial Relations and was, before coming over to RPNA, the first Anti-Fraud Chief under former DIR Director, Christine Baker, and in that capacity, literally saved California employers and stakeholders from billions of dollars of fraud abuse.
Mi is a frequently sought after speaker having spoken just last year, at ten different symposiums throughout the State of California and her academic and legal accomplishments are too numerous to mention here but are set forth in detail at RPNA’s website (www.rpnalaw.com). Mi’s legal acumen, passion for the law, strategic thinking and extraordinary intellect, experience and integrity are just some of the reasons we are thrilled to have Mi available to serve RPNA’s clients, now and in the future. Mi may be contacted at: mkk@rpnalaw.com.
