RPNA successfully certified two class
actions before the Los Angeles County Superior Court, one which
certified a class of approximately 10,000 individuals who had been
denied meal and rest breaks by one of the largest security firms
in the country.

Partners Nick Roxborough and
Drew Pomerance along with associate Burton Falk, Esq. recently obtained an
appellate opinion, holding that California employers may sue
the California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA) for
breaching its duties under the Guarantee Act.

which found workers' comp finance agreements or—in the case of
their client—an Insurance Program Agreement, subject to
disclosure and regulation by the Insurance Commissioner and
