David R. Ginsburg has been practicing law since 2001 and has been with RPNA since 2005. For the past 12 years, he has handled numerous workers’ compensation insurance and employment matters on behalf of employers, as well as handling complex business litigation.
David represents clients in workers’ compensation audit and premium collection disputes and advocates for them in court if the dispute results in litigation. He also assists clients with insurer and WCIRB audits as well as workers’ compensation claims reviews.
He has written numerous motions and appeared on behalf of individuals and businesses in both state and federal courts, as well as in administrative hearings. Mr. Ginsburg is also experienced in handling settlement negotiations and achieving favorable results for clients.
Prior to joining RPNA, Mr. Ginsburg worked at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith in Los Angeles, and Soltman, Levitt & Flaherty in Westlake Village, California.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Successful resolution of workers’ compensation audit and premium collection disputes.
Assisted in defeating an insurer’s attempt to compel the arbitration of a workers’ compensation claims handling dispute.
Successful prosecution of the Freedom of Information Act claim.
Handled oral arguments in motions for summary judgment, two of which resulted in successful defense judgments, including a reversal of the judge’s tentative ruling.
Represented a small business owner in successfully reversing a small claims judgment on appeal.

Served as a Legal Extern at the Inner City Law Center.
Co-Chair, “Southern California Employment Law Forum” presented by the Council on Education, 2008-2010.
Chairs and presents on multiple topics at a prominent employment law forums attended by many of California’s top employers.
