His practice areas include employment issues, insurance bad faith and coverage disputes, subrogation, workers’ compensation, personal injury, medical and professional malpractice, general business litigation, breach of contract, and data privacy.
Mr. Barbagallo has experience as both Plaintiff and Defense counsel, as well as experience working as private subrogation counsel for one of the largest workers’ compensation insurers in California. Most recently, Mr. Barbagallo served as in-house counsel to the world’s largest Avocado producer and publicly traded entity, overseeing global employment policies and procedures, disputes and litigation, and data privacy compliance and data breach incident response. Mr. Barbagallo is also an experienced trial attorney, having tried numerous complex cases through verdict. Finally, Mr. Barbagallo holds the designation of Certified Information Privacy Professional – US (CIPP/US), and is an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Mr. Barbagallo utilizes his breadth of experience to offer a full-service practice to his clients. Mr. Barbagallo graduated from the University of Southern California in 2014, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, before graduating from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2017. While at USC, Mr. Barbagallo worked in the US House of Representatives for Congressman Howard Berman, and later, while at Pepperdine, worked for the Honorable Patrick J. Walsh (Ret.), Chief Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
